CICL is certified and licensed by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. We are a member of the Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA.)
We provide homes throughout communities in Montgomery, Clark, Madison and Preble Counties. We provide a range of residential options, including support of indiviiduals in their own apartments or with roommates or in their family homes or their own homes. We own homes and also work in partnership with landlords and nonprofit housing corporations such as Miami Valley In-Ovations (MVIO) to provide other homes where clients pay rent to their landlords and we provide ongoing direct care services.
CICL is committed to the principles of person-centered planning, founded on the belief that people with developmental disabilities should be fully included in the community. Defining, developing and providing services based on the needs and interests of the individual being served forms the basis for person-centered services.
CICL provides a range of residential services and supports, from independent living to 24 hour, 7 days a week service in safe, nurturing home environments that encouage and support family and community relationships and personal choice. We work in collaboration and cooperation with community agencies, medical and other service providers to assure consistency and continuity of service within a multi-disciplinary framework.
