The journey to 4,000,000 begins with YOU!
That's the journey we are on, a journey to 4,000,000 pennies - just enough to help us buy a new accessible van to provide community transportation for people with developmental disabilities.
We are required by rules and regulations to provide accessible transportation. Each of our homes is required to have its own van. There is little or no funding from federal and state revenues, including Medicaid, to pay for the purchase of vans.
The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary knows that one person and one penny makes a difference! That's why they've stepped up to collect pennies (and other coins) for us that they then donate to our Pennies for Partners project.
We know they would welcome you in joining them and others who are saving their pennies for us and watching with us for the day when we can announce that we have reached our first goal of 4,000,000 pennies!
Many of our current vans are ten years or older and have more than 100,000 miles on them. Just as we did when our agencies began, we know we are relying on the kindness and generosity of families and friends to make a difference - one penny at a time.

Have an old car, truck, boat or other vehicle sitting around taking up space and you don't want to spend any more money on it? Please consider contacting Partners to donate your vehicle. You will receive a tax-deduction and we will use any proceeds we receive from your old vehicle to help us purchase new vehicles! We'll even pick up that old car, truck, etc. that is just sitting there taking up space.
