Professional staff are the heart of our person-centered services.
Our professional staff provide services and supports to assist the people we serve in developing and maintaining skills to live as independently as possible in the community. Due to their dedication to residents, we have one of the highest staff retention rates in Ohio for agencies providing residential services. In 2010, 50% of our staff have ten years or more of service, with two staff with 33 years of service.
We provide extensive training for new staff, as well as ongoing and annual training for current staff. We train to in the individual needs, abilities, personal interests and preferences of the people we serve.

We provide specialized training and/or certification to address specific needs of the people we serve, including behavioral strategies, diabetic testing and nutritional guidelines.
Our Management Team has extensive experience serving people with developmental disabilities. They maintain a network of services and supports with other service providers, including medical personnel, psychiatrists and therapists.
We continue to be a leader in the ongoing development of PATHS (Professional Advancement Through Training and Education in Human Services,) a voluntary program of credentialing and certifying staff to become Direct Support Professionals (DSP.) We are among 27 agencies across Ohio participating in this important professional development program.
