RHA is committed to the principles of person-centered planning, founded on the belief that people with developmental disabilities should be fully included in the community. Defining, developing and providing services based on the needs and interests of the individual being served forms the basis for person-centered services.
RHA provides residential services and supports 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year, in safe, nurturing home environments that encouage and support family and community relationships and personal choice. We work in collaboration/partnership and cooperation with community agencies, medical and other service providers to assure consistency and continuity of service within a multi-disciplinary framework.
RHA homes center on a family atmosphere. Our homes are true households. Staff are present to support and enhance the home environment and to positively support clients and to encourage them to actively participate in the daily activities of their homes, as well as activities in the community.
