Resident Home Association currently provides two opportunities for Adult Day Services for senior adults served by our agency.
We provide a small group community-based program for four adults who meet once a week and participate in art classes, attend lectures, participate in age-appropriate recreation and leisure-time activities, and provide community volunteer services. Our seniors are members of the Posey Patrol, volunteering with other community volunteers to water the street flower pots in Dayton each summer.
Twenty of our seniors meet once a week under the direction of our certified staff and in conjunction with the Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) program from Sinclair Community College. Sinclair students complete their field practicum with us while bringing stimulating recreation and leisure activities for our seniors, with an emphasis on maintaining and enhancing fine and gross motor skills.
