Resident Home Association (RHA) provides homes and other services to adults with developmental disabilities in Montgomery County, Ohio.
To be eligible for RHA services, individuals must register for residential and other waiting lists maintained by the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities. PLACEMENTS ARE MADE BY THE COUNTY BOARD IN THE COUNTY WHERE THE PROSPECTIVE RESIDENT LIVES.
As openings become available in RHA homes or homes operated by other agencies in the community, the individual seeking placement and/or services may choose from among those openings (Self-Determination.)
More than 20,000 Ohioans are on Residential Waiting Lists across the state.
People with developmental disabilities and their families and caregivers are urged to contact their local county board at the earliest possible time to be included on the Residential and other Waiting Lists. Due to the number of people needing residential and other services and the limited number of openings available at any point in time, it is critically important for individuals to be included on the waiting lists, even if they are not looking for immediate services.
